Schedule a Text Message for a Group
Why Use Automated Text Messaging?
If you have a short but important message that needs to reach your audience quickly, SMS (text messaging) is often the best way to ensure it gets seen. Unlike email, which may go unread, text messages have a higher open rate and faster response time.
With ConveYour’s automation feature, you can schedule a text message to send at the right time, to the right group, without manually sending each message.
Need to send an email instead?
If your group prefers email delivery or doesn’t have mobile numbers, you can use the same process outlined below but select "Send Email" instead of "Send Text Message."

How to Send a Scheduled Text Message to an Existing Group
Step 1: Start a New Automation
Navigate to Main Menu > Automations in ConveYour.
Click New Automation in the top right.
Select Create under "Send Text Message."
Note: To set the "From" phone line, a ConveYour Team must be set.
Step 2: Configure the Message
Name the Automation (e.g., Send Photo to the Team).
Select the Group to receive the message.
Set the Release Date & Time:
Choose today’s date or a future date.
Select the time and time zone for message delivery.
Step 3: Choose the Automation Type
Once – Sends the message one time to the selected group.
Recurring – Continuously sends the message to new contacts who match the group conditions while the automation is active or for a set amount of days after the automation is released.
Step 4: Write & Review Your Message
Enter the message content.
Click Review in the top right to verify:
The scheduled time and date.
The contacts affected.
If everything is correct, click Launch.
If adjustments are needed, click the Back Arrow to edit.
How to Send a Scheduled Text to a New Group
If your target group does not yet exist, you can create it while setting up the automation.
Follow the same steps above, but instead of selecting an existing group:
Click Create New Group.
Set group conditions (e.g., by course participants, region, role, or client type).
Save the new group and proceed with scheduling the message.
Additional Notes
This process also applies to email blasts—simply select "Send Email" instead of "Send Text Message."
