What Are SMS Notifications?
SMS notifications are automated text messages sent to selected contacts based on specific triggers or conditions. They are used to provide real-time updates, reminders, or alerts.

Notifying managers or recruiters when a group of contacts completes training.
Sending reminders to interviewers for upcoming appointments or deadlines related to a contact.

SMS notifications help ensure timely communication and can be customized using placeholders to personalize messages.
How to Set Up SMS Notifications in a Campaign
Open the desired Campaign.
Click the Content section dropdown.
Drag and drop SMS Notification from the left panel into the workflow editor.
Click the SMS Notification element.
Enter a name for the notification.
Select the contacts to notify via text. Contacts are limited to those assigned to the team. Use related contacts to notify individuals directly associated with a contact. Learn more about related contacts.
Enter the message body. Use placeholders to insert names, mobile numbers, and other dynamic fields.
Review and Launch the automation.
How to Set Up SMS Notification Automations
Example use case: Notify managers or recruiters when a group of contacts completes training.
Create a group based on your conditions, such as “Completed Lesson” or “Status is Complete.”
Click the Automations tab.
Click Create next to the SMS Notification automation type.
Select your group.
Set the Start At time:
To run the automation daily, select "Run once for current contacts in group and all added contacts until the automation is paused or stopped."
Automations run from the selected Start Time until 12 AM, then resume the next day at the same time to avoid sending messages overnight.
Select the contacts to notify, specific contacts and/or related contacts.
Add placeholders to the SMS body as needed.
Review and launch the automation.
