Overview
Fill in the Blank questions are a great way to assess recall and accuracy without providing answer choices. Unlike multiple-choice questions, they require learners to actively recall information, making them useful for:

Setting Up a Fill in the Blank Question
Step 1: Write Your Question
Navigate to Main Menu > Lessons and select your Lesson, or create a new one.
Drag and drop the Fill in the Blank Lesson Item into your Lesson.
Structure the question sentence and indicate where the blank should be.
Step 2: Add Acceptable Answers
Provide a list of correct answers (not case-sensitive).
Include all possible variations that should be accepted.
Step 3: Configure Additional Settings
Add optional media (image or audio) for context.
Enable scoring (optional) and set the point value.
Scoring
Participants receive points for submitting a correct answer from the accepted list.
Best used when a multiple-choice format would make the answer too obvious.
