Automatic Group Creation on Upload
When you upload contacts from a CSV file into ConveYour, the system automatically creates a Group for these contacts. This feature helps you organize and track your uploaded contacts more effectively by allowing you to immediately name and save the group, so you can message them or add them to a course or campaign.
How it Works
If you’re unfamiliar with the contact upload process, refer to the Importing/Uploading Contacts to ConveYour help document for detailed instructions.
Here’s what happens during the upload:
As ConveYour uploads your contacts, it automatically creates a Group and assigns it a default name based on today’s date (e.g., import_05_06_22).
Each contact in the group will also receive a tag corresponding to this default Group name, visible in their profile.
Once the upload is complete, you’ll see a blue button with the Group’s name below the Upload Stats and Success message. Click this button to manage the group.
Managing Your New Group
After clicking the blue button, you’ll be directed to the group’s settings page. Here, you can:
Rename the Group to something more descriptive.
Review the list of contacts to ensure the upload matches your expectations.
This is also a good opportunity to:
Check for any missing contacts.
Verify that email addresses and other details for each contact are accurate.
